NHCC HISTORY

Founded in 1980, New Horizon Care Centers, Inc. (NHCC) is a multi-service organization that provides residential and outpatient addiction treatment services and mental health counseling. We specialize in co-occurring services, including pregnant and parenting women (PPW), men's residential substance use disorder treatment, and gambling services.

NHCC MISSION

NHCC honors the dignity of all persons and provides tailored, nurturing care to those suffering from substance abuse, violence, homelessness, and mental illness.

We view chemical dependency as a chronic, systemic, progressive and, when left untreated, fatal disease. Therefore, we offer promise, hope, and the courage to set realistic goals, while also working to strengthen each client's self-confidence and self-esteem.

NHCC VALUES

NHCC is founded on the following values:

  • The inherent dignity and worth of all human beings.

  • The distinction between people and their behaviors.

  • The freedom of choice.

  • Personal accountability and empowerment.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY AND AFFIRMATIVE ACTION
