Admission CRITERIA AND Process

Admission criteria:

• Must be male, minimum 18 years of age and chemically dependent.

• Must have a current chemical dependency assessment with at least two qualifying ASAM Dimensions (DIM 2 through DIM 6).

• Must have active state medical coupon or enrollment in private insurance.

• Must arrive for treatment clean and sober, immediately ready to participate in treatment services. Sun Ray Court cannot provide withdrawal management services. Admit dates can and will be scheduled to coordinate with detox needs.

• If in need of detox, the patient must transition into treatment directly from a detox facility.

• All medications and supplements must have a current prescription and patients must bring their current prescriptions to treatment. Benzodiazepines, barbiturates and opiates are subject to approval prior to admit.

Admission Process:

• Complete an adult chemical dependency assessment at any outpatient agency or detox program.

• Fax or email the assessment to 509-456-5710 or intake@nhccspokane.org.

• The assessment is then reviewed to determine if placement at SRC is appropriate.

• The referring entity will be informed, usually within 24-48 hours, if the patient is being accepted.

• A bed-date will be established, coordinating with other services or entities (detox, jail, etc.)

• The patient arrives on their scheduled bed-date and the intake process begins.

• If an individual cannot make their bed date, call us as soon as possible.

• We are not a licensed detox facility. If patients arrive impaired, they will not be admitted.
