Our outpatient counseling service programs assists patients with identified problems associated with substance abuse (gambling, financial problems, failure in school, domestic violence, child abuse, etc.). For these patients, we provide individualized treatment plans, family support/counseling, financial counseling, and aftercare in both individual and group therapy settings.

According to the DSM-5, a “substance use disorder describes a problematic pattern of using alcohol or another substance that results in impairment in daily life or noticeable distress.” NHCC’s outpatient services focus on the skills and tools needed to restore the level of physical, psychological, and social health necessary to achieve and sustain recovery.
